Buck Lake is a private reservoir which is stocked with rainbow trout. We have a large dock with a rowboat and kayak for your use. This rural area offers the conveniences of the city in a relaxed and peaceful setting. Amenities on the island include restaurants and galleries, grocery and drug stores, medical services, RCMP, golf and frisbee golf courses, tennis courts and several specialty coffee and gift stores. |
| The interior features open wood beams and skylights. Natural wood finishes combine with vaulted ceilings and skylights to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Home entertainment includes: TV/VCR, radio/CD player, as well as numerous puzzles, games and books. The Pender Islands have the most temperate year-round climate in Canada. Autumn lingers into November and the hummingbirds arrive early in March to a multitude of spring flowers. The lakes are also host to many species of wild birds during the winter season. |

The kitchen is fully equipped, including stainless steel cookware, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker and large crab pot (for cooking those wonderful Dungeness crabs available direct from the fisherman) as well as a cooler and thermos for those carefree picnics at the beach. Prepare a dinner of fresh salmon, halibut, cod or trout on the propane BBQ on the deck and then relax in front of the propane fireplace in the living room. |
| There are 3 bedrooms (queen, double and double/single bunk) and 2-1/2 bathrooms and all linens are provided. Other amenities of this wonderful environment are: a gas fireplace and washer and dryer and a fully equipped kitchen. |
